Can't find an answer? Send an email to nathella.music@gmail.com
Before your first lesson, please send an email to nathella.music@gmail.com with scans of any music your are wanting to work on. Also please make syre you are warmed up and ready to play gor your scheduled time.
If you don't have anything you are working on at the moment, don't worry! Let me know at least 24 hours in advance of your lesson and I will send you some PDFs of things we can look at together.
If this is your first online lesson, I reccomend you spend some time a few days before experimenting with your setup.
First, you need to install Zoom on your device. There are a number of audio settings that should be configured in order to optimize the sound quality for horn.
To adjust Zoom audio settings on a computer, go to the Preferences window in Zoom.
The following settings may need to be adjusted:
1. Check that your microphone and output devices are correct.
2. Disable (uncheck) “Automatically adjust microphone volume”.
3. Ensure that “Enable Stereo” is checked.
4. In the Advanced tab, enable (check) “Enable Original Sound from microphone”.
5. In the Advanced tab, set both noise reduction settings to DISABLED.
Once you're in your lesson, make sure to click “Enable Original Sound” in the top left
corner of your Zoom screen in order to activate these settings.
If possible, it's best to set up your computer or external mic between 8-10 feet away from your practice space.
For introductory lessons, I accept a one-time payment a minimum of 24 hours in advance. After you book your lesson, I will send you an email with payment information.
After your introductory lesson, I accept payment monthly on the first of the month.
If you miss the above payment deadlines you will forfeit your lesson times.
Lessons can be rescheduled if you notify me at least 24 hours in advance.
If you show-up late, I will only teach for the remainder of the scheduled time and will still charge a full lesson for that time slot.
If you do not show-up, the lesson is forfeited. There are no refunds.
